Medusa was once a beautiful maiden, priestess of Athena's temple. Cursed by the gods, her hair became a nest of venomous serpents and her gaze turned all who beheld her to stone.

None could meet Medusa's eyes and remain mortal. Heroes, kings, and warriors were frozen into eternal statues — monuments to the price of arrogance.

The Gorgon Sisters
